2007 Mid-Continent Regional Conference
April 26th - 28th
The University of Kansas to Host 2007 Conference
It is our pleasure to be hosting the 2007 conference. It is our goal to make sure everyone is well informed as well as that everyone has a good time. This years conference communications director is Becky Anderson. She will be sending out emails with essential information to the contacts we have from each school. If your school is not recieving information from Becky or has any questions, you can contact her at banderso@ku.edu. We wish you the best during this time of preparation and we are looking forward to seeing you in April.
Reasons Why to Participate
Our chapter is strongly reccomending to the other schools in our region to consider participating in as many events as possible. There are 14 schools participating and 10 competitions that we will giving awards for so each school can increase their odds of winning by just participating in more competitions. As a reminder, for each school to be eligible for participation in either steel bride or concrete canoe, they must have at least one person participating in the technical paper competition. The technical paper can be written on a research project that the student has previously done and can involve very little work so there is very little room for excuses.
